Dear Amelia,

Your dad is extremely protective over me. He always has been. So it came as no surprise that he was pissed when I told him I was face to face with with Claudia, and then blocked him out. It was reckless of me, but I knew I’d be okay.

When I got back, I knew I had to tell him that his two childhood best friends were the ones working with Katrina and Ryan. He was already suspicious of them, after all, he was the one who first suspected them. We just both really hoped we were wrong.

We went to Willow Lake, and I brought everyone together. Leon, Sadie, Alex, Devyn, Jordan, Stella, Farrah and the two team leads, Miranda and Christopher. Once we were all together, I explained everything. I planned to catch Leon up on everything later, but since he was officially the gamma, he had to be aware of what was going on.

When I was done explaining what happened, I suggested we start a war. I know what you’re thinking, Amelia, but hear me out. I wasn’t going to just break my own laws without reason.

Katrina didn’t really want to start a war with Colton, because she didn’t have an army. And she didn’t want him thinking she was going to. That’s why she wanted to convince him to join forces with her. My thought was to attack and make Colton think Katrina set him up. That way, they would take each other out. If not, they would definitely weaken each other and we could finish the job.

I went over my plan. Jordan called it shitty and everyone agreed with him. But, it was an opportunity to get ahead. I planned to bring Grandpa with me, so he could take out Katrina himself. I assigned Miranda’s team to raid their hideout and capture Jason and Erica.

I was only bringing Sadie so she could absorb more fae magic and make charms. Grandpa would sell the story of it being a set up. Farrah would change my appearance, and everyone else would be on standby.

Carl’s team would assist me. Christopher’s team, along with Devyn, would set up around us and make sure no one got away. They were snipers after all. And they were good. No one agreed with my plan, but we did it anyway. And I went to pick up Grandpa.

Grandpa didn’t need details, just revenge. In three sentences, I told him the ploy and he was ready.

The goddesses must have heard my prayers because Colton and Katrina were already talking when we got there, and they were not on good terms. It couldn’t have been more perfect.

I hid in the shadows, listening and watching for the right moment. Carl’s team attacked. Colton instantly, without a doubt, assumed Katrina was behind it. Then Grandpa barged in, acted like Katrina’s lover, and confirmed that he was attacking, just like she instructed him to. It was too perfect.

Colton attacked Katrina. However, Ryan defended her, claiming she was his mate. After taking a closer look, I saw Katrina was marked by Ryan. It didn’t make sense. But Ryan attacking Colton left her alone. And Grandpa was itching for revenge.

Dear Amelia, It took me a while to decide what details to spare you. But knowing that the one personality trait you got from me was your stubbornness, I knew you’d ask for them all. If you had it your way, you’d have me just show you my memories. So I’ll compromise. I’ll give you…

Dear Amelia, Gaia and I went on our run and ended up under the weeping willow. The same willow I used to visit as my safe place when I first learned how to jump. It was the spot that I felt the most comfortable. We didn’t build out there, because that spot was sacred to…

Dear Amelia, I didn’t kill Claudia. Devyn’s parents told me she was on our side, but that didn’t mean I trusted her. She told me she hid after the war because she was ashamed. She trusted Katrina, and Katrina betrayed me. I already knew that Katrina was the one who told Darius about our plan,…

Dear Amelia, The next time I saw Devyn, we talked about us. It was a conversation we avoided for far too long. Questions about how we were going to make our relationship work. There was no question on whether or not we loved each other, or if we were a good match. The question was…

Dear Diary, It seems like so much keeps happening in short periods of time. On my birthday, James asked me to be his wife. He also bought us a home in Washington – the state not D.C – so I could be closer to school and still come home to him. He is literally the…

Dear Amelia, If you want to thank anyone for pushing me into a relationship with Devyn, don’t thank Jordan. Thank your brother. When we finally made it back home from Mexico, Devyn and I took Tristan out for ice cream. Do you know what your brother did when we got there? He asked Devyn to…
