Dear Amelia,

I didn’t kill Claudia.

Devyn’s parents told me she was on our side, but that didn’t mean I trusted her. She told me she hid after the war because she was ashamed. She trusted Katrina, and Katrina betrayed me. I already knew that Katrina was the one who told Darius about our plan, I just didn’t know why.

According to Claudia, Katrina turned her back on me because she wanted revenge. She knew she couldn’t kill me, but she hoped Darius or Markus would. Apparently, I was the reason her brother was dead. I didn’t even know that she had a brother until Claudia told me.

Katrina’s brother was none other than Edward- the warlock who helped Casey and James’s mom put a bounty on me. Kevin took care of his mother’s punishment. But Claudia was the one who killed Edward and Casey. Not me. Katrina clearly didn’t know that detail though.

Claudia did prove useful with her information. She told me that Katrina and Ryan were trying to recruit Colton because he had an army. We didn’t know he had an army. And that made this whole thing so much bigger.

Claudia also confirmed the suspicions that I hoped were wrong. Jason and Erica were working with them. It all made sense. Everyone in their group had a reason to hate me.

Jason and Katrina blamed me for their sibling’s death. That’s why they teamed up. Ryan was supposed to die when I buried him during the war, that’s why he joined them. Erica, on the other hand, just hated me. And I’m sure she wanted to follow her mate.

However, according to Claudia, Katrina and Ryan turned their backs on Jason and Erica and were holding them hostage.

Claudia gave me their current location and plan. They wanted to kill Colton if he didn’t comply. If Colton refused to willingly agree to work with them, they would steal his army.

I gave Claudia a warning about betraying me again before leaving. I was tired, but that didn’t matter. What mattered at that moment was the information I had just received. I had to gather everyone and fill them in on it.

Dear Diary, I didn’t talk to James, but I talked to Onyx. He assured me that they wouldn’t reject me. I forgive Onyx, not James. There’s a lot that I haven’t internalized yet, but I’ll take my time. Jordan told me about his witch friend – the High Priestess named Stella – who blessed him…

Dear Amelia, I told you I would eventually tell you details that were left out that would make things make sense later. Well, now it’s later. The only way for everything to make sense has everything to do with what I’m about to tell you in the next few letters. It was the start of…

Dear Diary, I have to admit that I let my emotions get the better of me this past month. But I don’t regret it. At least not right now. I don’t think. So, to catch you up on what happened, I finished finals- although I’m not sure if I passed. And I was supposed to…

Dear Amelia, It took me a while to decide what details to spare you. But knowing that the one personality trait you got from me was your stubbornness, I knew you’d ask for them all. If you had it your way, you’d have me just show you my memories. So I’ll compromise. I’ll give you…
