This is the third book in the Split or Swallow series. I accidently came across this series, but I quickly became obsessed. So I’m impatiently waiting for this to be released so I can finish the series. I can’t wait 😊

So, I was scrolling through Amazon looking at books and seeing what sticks. This stuck. It’s a dark fantasy, and everyone is a villain. How does that not sound intriguing? Plus, there are only two books in the series. Love that for me.

Why it’s on my TBR:
I chose this book based on the cover. And then I realized this was book two, so now I’m reading book one and I’m hooked. I’m glad I picked this up on a random Wednesday afternoon. I can’t wait to see where the series takes me.

Why it’s on my TBR:
Slow burn, romance, magic, and a woman destined for something great? It sounds like my kind of story. I’ve heard a lot of good things about this book, so I’ll throw it here and see how it goes.

Why it’s on my TBR:
I have a thing for the classics and like every good classic lover, The Odyssey is pretty high on that list. But this isn’t The Odyssey, this is The Witch’s Heart. Not Greek mythology. Norse mythology. And a story about the witch who fell for Loki sounds pretty damn interesting to me.

Why it’s on my TBR:
To be honest, it sounds sooo good. And that cover drew me in. So a girl is held hostage as collateral for the ultra powerful wizard called “Dragon” who protects her village from the dark wood that is full of dark magic. She is to serve him for 10 years. A lot can happen in 10 years. I’m curious to find out.

Title: A Touch of Darkness (Saga)
Author: Scarlett St. Clair
Why it’s on my TBR:
I love Greek mythology. My favorites? Hades, Athena, Hecate and Gaia of course. So, put a modern touch on the story of Hades and Persephone and I’m here for it. Especially because I tend to have a weak spot for the underdogs. And let’s be honest, Hades was always an underdog.

Why it’s on my TBR:
Other than how cute the book looks on the outside, this book sounds interesting. A slow burn romance, enemies to lovers (which I rarely go for), and a little bit of spice. A stubborn MC who is tired of doing what she’s told. I love a good rebellion.

Why it’s on my TBR:
Imagine killing people with just a kiss. It gives, Rogue from X-Men or Kissing Kate Barlow from Holes (both are characters I love). But this is different because the one person who survives her kiss is the last person she wants to live since he will become her husband. Sounds juicy.
