Dear Amelia,

Happy New Year!

I know I saw you this weekend at the New Year celebration we had, but it doesn’t hurt to say it again. Still, can you believe this? I started sending you these letters in January of last year, and what a journey it’s been! Especially for me.

You learned more about me and your father, and I got to reflect on the good, the bad, the ugly and the pretty. I also learned a lot about myself too. And I’ve changed so much over the years. I guess that’s what happens when you experience life.

So, the wedding.

I went dress shopping with my mom and the girls. Farrah, Sadie, Stella and Josie were all bridesmaids. We went to Milan, and unlike dress shopping for my birthday, I found the perfect dress at the first store we visited. Actually, we all found our dresses at that store.

It was a first for me. James wanted me to have all this when we got married, but it wasn’t in the cards for us. And as much as I wanted to get the whole experience, I was okay with that. At the end of the day, getting married was the important part, not dress shopping.

But, I got to do it with Devyn. And I loved it. It was so exciting. I imagined it would take days, multiple shops and maybe even a couple of breakdowns before I found the one. But luckily, it didn’t.

The bridal shop wasn’t too far from Gio’s restaurant, so we went there after. Of course, I called ahead. I’m not that inconsiderate. But, that was the first time Gio met Josie and Farrah.

Time seemed to fly by. Spring turned to summer, summer turned to fall and fall gave way to winter. The entire time, I counted the days and wished they’d go by quickly. And they did. Me and Devyn had so much fun planning. And no, I wasn’t a bridezilla.

Nothing too dramatic happened after the whole thing with Flynn. Thank Goddess, because I was tired of fighting wars and hunting down potential threats. I was finally finding some kind of normalcy, and I loved that for me.

Between my duties as Queen, Luna, wife, and being a mother to you and Tristan, I was always busy. But once I found a balance in it all, it was amazing. It was more than amazing. Especially since Gio became my Gamma- though that came a while after the wedding.

When the day finally arrived, I was a nervous wreck. I couldn’t tell if Devyn was too because he had a block up. And that only made me more nervous. But guess who wasn’t nervous at all? Tristan. Everyone was crying, giddy or nervous- as far as the bridal party goes- but he wasn’t. He was seven, Amelia, and I could feel from his aura that he was as calm as he looked.

My dad brought me some tranquility. He told me to focus on Devyn and not to worry about anything or anyone else. And that’s exactly what I did. I let my dad guide me as we walked while my eyes focused solely on Devyn’s beautiful and perfect smile. He cried, and I did too, but I didn’t care.

We wrote our own vows. And I still remember every word and promise we made to each other. I think my mom still has the video… you’d have to ask her about it. All I know is I was ugly crying as Devyn said his vows.

The wedding was perfect. All of my closest friends and family were there. I know I said it was small, but small meant less than 50, not less than 20.

Our honeymoon was extended because my body decided it was a good time to go into heat. Devyn didn’t complain, obviously. But I missed you and Tristan, and I wanted to get back to you two.

When we did finally get back, I found out that both Farrah and Josie were pregnant by Gio. He found his mate in Bali and got rejected the day before the wedding. And, well, Farrah and Josie decided to cheer him up. He marked both of them. I’m pretty sure the second time they met was at the wedding, but they knew what they wanted, and they are still happy together. That’s all that matters.

I also had a meeting with the council when I got back. They found the missing Lunas and Alphas, and unfortunately, most of them were dead. The council also detained the Lunas and Alphas who were willingly helping Colton, and their packs were surrendered to the council.

The packs were ultimately dismantled, and the pack members had the option of either joining another pack, or they could come to Willow Lake. Many joined other packs, but a lot came here to the tribe.

As far as Jordan’s parents go, I pardoned them and placed them under my direct supervision. All their work would be supervised by me so we could interfere when needed. Of course, the council was under strict orders not to share that information with anyone. I actually alpha commanded them just to be sure. I wanted to protect my in laws. I don’t care if it’s bias.

Dear Amelia, If you want to thank anyone for pushing me into a relationship with Devyn, don’t thank Jordan. Thank your brother. When we finally made it back home from Mexico, Devyn and I took Tristan out for ice cream. Do you know what your brother did when we got there? He asked Devyn to…

Dear Diary, I don’t know if this is some sick joke or if the world isn’t as gray as I thought it was. But something is off. Yesterday, my parents dropped me off at the airport where I met the most handsome man the Goddess ever created. His skin was so smooth and unflawed. His…

Dear Amelia, Devyn has always been a constant presence in Tristan’s life. Your brother looked up to him a lot. Probably more than he looked up to Jordan. He knew Devyn wasn’t his father, but, thinking about it now, listened to him like he was. He always wanted to spend time with Devyn and loved…

Dear Amelia, If you think Tristan and Grace are clingy now, you should have saw them growing up. I know you saw the teenage version of them, but the child version of them were something else. They were inseparable. Jordan didn’t like it, but I thought it was cute. When I was wrapped up in…

Dear Amelia, I know you don’t want to hear this, but you have a lot to thank your brother for. If it wasn’t for him, I don’t think I would have ever started a relationship with Devyn, even though I loved him. And I definitely wouldn’t be alive right now. Neither would Sadie, Devyn or…
