Dear Cassie,

If you’re reading this, you have found one of the letters I left for you. I knew you would. You are such an intelligent and clever girl. You could do anything you set your mind to.

I wrote this because I wanted to remind you of what a blessing you are. Many people don’t appreciate the blessings they have in life, but I did. You were a blessing in my life. I recognized it the moment I met you. Maybe it was because I saw a little bit of myself in you. Or maybe it was because you reminded me of my wife.

You were never afraid to get your hands dirty and do the hard work. That’s very admirable of you, especially since most adults don’t do it. I believe God put you in my life for a reason. When my wife died, I had nothing else to live for, so I threw myself into the farm. But when I met you, everything changed.

You brought out a side of me that I thought died a long time ago, and I want to say thank you. God blesses each of his children. What we do with that blessing is up to us. Your parents were blessed with three beautiful kids, but they don’t cherish them like they should have.

As much as I wanted to be a father, God made me a grandfather, to you and your siblings. And like every good grandparent, I tried to give you what your parents couldn’t. Unfortunately, my time with you was limited and I can no longer do that.

If there is one thing I do know about God, it’s that he loves all his children and he will always be there for you. You are not just a blessing to me; you are a blessing to the world. And you will be blessed yourself.

Whether that’s falling in love, becoming a mother, or having the freedom to do whatever you want in life without restrictions. You will be blessed. I hope you get to see the world and fall in love. I pray that you find happiness and smile a lot. Follow your heart and listen to the signs God sends to you.

You are beautiful, and one day, some lucky man will come along and see what a blessing you are. He will stand by you, despite your faults. He will give you a shoulder to cry on, love you without reason and support you in life. He will respect you and honor you. And he will provide for you in ways you didn’t know you needed. This is the man God will send you. Recognize and accept his blessing.

As always, with love,

Al.

PS: I know your parents will ruin the farm. I also know you will revive it. I’ve left an account specifically for renovations. Use it. Don’t spend your own money. Joe has the details but will only give them to you if you ask.

Dear Amelia, Your dad is extremely protective over me. He always has been. So it came as no surprise that he was pissed when I told him I was face to face with with Claudia, and then blocked him out. It was reckless of me, but I knew I’d be okay. When I got back,…

Stella is the High Priestess, and sometimes I forget that. She hid her pregnancy for two months from everyone. Even Jordan. That alone reminded me of how strong she was. After celebrating with the tribe and putting the kids to bed, Devyn and I went back to Black Forest. In Italy, it was already well…

Dear Amelia, Macey was still with me, and as I was coming to, I heard Devyn defending Macey to everyone who was calling her dangerous and evil. Macey heard everything, and when we woke up, she forgave him fully. Because she finally understood why I loved him so much. When he said he loved her…

Dear Amelia, When you were born, my world changed. My life and view on life changed. And I knew Devyn’s did too. You refused to be born until Sadie and Stella were ready. You ended up being the second one born, right after Julian. Your dad wanted to name you after himself. He didn’t care…

Dear Amelia, When we got back from Disney, Devyn and I decided to work on growing our family. We weren’t concerned with the order of things. I didn’t care to get married first and then try. Marriage was a human concept anyway. As was the sentiment of getting married before having a baby. We didn’t…
