Dear Amelia,

Gaia and I went on our run and ended up under the weeping willow. The same willow I used to visit as my safe place when I first learned how to jump. It was the spot that I felt the most comfortable. We didn’t build out there, because that spot was sacred to me. James and I got married there.

Gaia and I talked about James and Onyx. We loved Ares and Devyn, but we missed our mate so much. It was hard not to. James and Onyx were the first to tell me they loved me, despite my status as a hybrid.

Guilt consumed me, because I was torn. I loved both Devyn and James. Differently, but immensely. I felt guilty because James was gone and I longed for him, even though I had Devyn. And I felt guilty because I loved Devyn so much and James was my mate. I felt like I was betraying both of them, and it hurt.

We talked about other things too. Like why the goddesses weren’t answering us. I prayed every day for two weeks, but none of them responded. Not Celeste. Not Gaia. And not Victoria.

And then Gaia, the goddess, showed up. She took me to her realm where Selene, Celeste, and Victoria were all waiting. It was my chance to ask all my questions. The first thing I asked about was if there were fae in our realm. Gaia said yes. And then the rest of the questions came.

Why? What do they want? What magic do they have? Is Colton a fae or fae hybrid? Did Colton use fae magic on Jordan during the challenge? Was fae magic also used on Sadie? Is that why I couldn’t heal her? Does Tristan and Grace already have their wolves?

I shot off my questions in rapid fire. As you can imagine, they didn’t answer all of them. But I did get some information. Celeste told me that Grace and Tristan have two of her strongest wolves. She also told me that Colton was a pureblood wolf.

Victoria told me not to worry about Sadie. She told me that Sadie was special and that I needed to trust her.

Gaia gave me a book and told me that it was written in her ancient language. And that my wolf should be able to read it, since they were one in the same. I was left to figure out the rest on my own.

Before I left, I asked Celeste if I could see James and Onyx. She told me no. And then I asked if they knew about me and Devyn, and she didn’t answer. I asked if Devyn had a second chance out there somewhere. Celeste refused to answer me.

However, she did say that James would want me to be happy and that Onyx was happy that I have Devyn and Ares. She told me not to feel guilty. And then she sent me back to Willow Lake before I could protest.

It wasn’t until I got back that I started to think about what Victoria said. How would she know Sadie would be okay? Sadie was a witch-wolf hybrid, not a vampire. Only Celeste and Hecate should be able to watch over her. Unless Sadie was part vampire…

Dear Amelia, I told you I would eventually tell you details that were left out that would make things make sense later. Well, now it’s later. The only way for everything to make sense has everything to do with what I’m about to tell you in the next few letters. It was the start of…

Dear Amelia, Before I tell you about the trip to Mexico, I need to tell you about what happened before we left. And again, I know you only want to know about me and Devyn, but I can’t tell you our story without telling you everything else. After everything happened with Tristan and Grace, Devyn…

Dear Amelia, If you think Tristan and Grace are clingy now, you should have saw them growing up. I know you saw the teenage version of them, but the child version of them were something else. They were inseparable. Jordan didn’t like it, but I thought it was cute. When I was wrapped up in…

Dear Amelia, I don’t want you to think of me as some cruel, heartless being. I made the best choices I possibly could within the time given. Ideally, things wouldn’t have played out the way they did if I could help it. But in order for us to win the war, I had to do…
