Dear Diary,

Dark days are ahead. And we have to plan for them. Gaia forced James’s mom to admit her wrong doings. We found out that she had help from not only Devyn’s ex mate, but also from the warlock I met in James’s office. I left Kevin in charge of her punishment.

Clan Leader Viktor agreed to join us. They were the first vampire clan to side with us. And I was happy about that, given that I was a member of this clan too. Jordan’s alpha, however, did not side with us. He didn’t want any part of the war. And he assured me he will not side with King Darius either. I respected him, and his choice. And I would not force him to fight if he didn’t want to.

Word spread that both King Darius of the wolves and King Markus of the vampires wanted the green eyed-hybrid dead. Word also spread that I was Markus’s great granddaughter. A lot of bounty hunters wanted nothing to do with royal family drama.

We gained support from packs who heard about Selene’s visit. Although her visit angered the gods, it helped me secure more supporters. And I think she knew that it would.

All I did was train and plan, and train and plan, and train and plan. I didn’t have time for anything else. Time was running out.

Grandpa was a big help. Actually, everyone was a big help. But grandpa was an inside man. And he worked with another inside person who fed information to Markus and Darius.

Markus and Darius were planning to meet soon to figure out how to kill me, since no one has done it yet. That’s when we are going to attack.

Funny, the only time those two come together is when they are trying to kill the product of their own creation. First, Vasilia’s unborn twins, now, me.

I dread this war. It’s taken so much from me and it hasn’t even started yet. Although, I did gain friends in Jordan, Stella, Devyn, Farrah and Josie, I have no time to enjoy the friendship in a traditional sense. Like going out to the movies, or camping or maybe a party. Things a normal 19 year-old would do. I’m 19, and at this point, I might as well be 50 with how much I have done and still have to do.

I think the biggest frustration, though, is the fact that I have no time for myself. Or for James. Between all the training and planning and preparations, we had no time for each other. I just want a day off, but we can’t afford that right now.

I can’t wait for this war to be over.

I miss James.

Dear Amelia, I blame myself. Macey didn’t know what happiness felt like. She only experienced all my bad moments. And although she resented Tristan for looking like James, all she wanted to do was protect him. From what I read in her journal, Tristan was the only innocent person in her eyes. She didn’t want…

Dear Amelia, This isn’t the beginning of our story, but it is the start. As I’ve said before, Devyn was the only person who didn’t bully me growing up. He was my first friend- though our friendship kind of ended by the time we were old enough to start school. Anyway, while I was wallowing…

Dear Amelia, I don’t want you to think of me as some cruel, heartless being. I made the best choices I possibly could within the time given. Ideally, things wouldn’t have played out the way they did if I could help it. But in order for us to win the war, I had to do…

Dear Diary, I think the Goddesses hate me. Or are toying with me. I had just started talking to James about going back to school in August, but then my ex roommate, Farrah, called me. She told me she was a dark witch, and that her girlfriend, Josie, was actually her soul-tie and a warlock….

Dear Diary, Yesterday I was so upset about being grounded that I forgot to tell you about what else happened after the party. Before my parents found out about all the secrets I’d been keeping from them- including the Forbidden Woods- I went with them to the scene to find out what happened and I…

Dear Amelia, The alpha summit is where everything started. It is what you can say is the beginning. The meeting was where we learned about what was to come, we just didn’t know it yet. Devyn and I kept our situationship quiet. And we kept our feelings away from everyone. We didn’t want rumors to…
